Chen Ta-pu

Chen Ta-pu is a seasoned visual artist from Taiwan, focusing on directing and cinematography. He graduated from Fu Jen Catholic University with a degree in mass communication and has worked as an advertising director and cinematographer on various film and television projects, including the movie "Better Than Sex" and the TV series "Dangerous Mind." He has also been invited to serve as a visual director for a production company in Singapore and has conducted advertising shoots in Hong Kong, China, and Southeast Asia.
In 2011, Chen Ta-pu released his first feature film, "Pick The Youth," and achieved significant box office success in 2017 with "Turn Around" His works have been showcased and awarded multiple times, winning the Best Cinematography Award at the Taipei Film Awards in 2020 for "We Are Champions." Additionally, his work "Public Television Life Drama - The Cleaner" was nominated for the Golden Bell Award for Best Mini-Series (TV Movie) Director.
His directing credits include "Pick The Youth" (2011), "Turn Around" (2017), "The Cleaner" (2020), "Grit" (2021), and the 2024 series version of "The Cleaner." Chen Ta-pu's career demonstrates his expertise and passion in the field of visual creation.
