Bai En
Bai En, born on July 31, 1986, in Baotou, Inner Mongolia, is a male actor from mainland China who graduated from the Beijing Film Academy's acting department. During his undergraduate years, he participated in the talent show "加油好男兒 (Come on, good man)" in 2006, where he ranked sixth in the Beijing region. He officially entered the entertainment industry in 2008 with the TV drama "Auntie Duohe."
Since then, Bai En has appeared in numerous film and television works. In 2011, he starred in the family drama "Jia chang cai" and made a guest appearance in the historical suspense drama "Arbiter of Loyalty unto Death." In 2012, he participated in the period drama "Glory Land" and the joint Chinese-Russian-Japanese production "My Natasha," gradually gaining attention.
In 2013, he received more recognition for his roles in the rural comedy "Hometown" and the historical martial arts drama "Arbiter of Kaifeng Mystery." In 2014, he appeared in the war drama "Kang Ri Ying Xiong Zhao Shang Zhi" and the urban inspirational comedy "Hou Tianming's Dream." He made his debut in the urban workplace drama "Running After The Love" in 2015.
In 2016, Bai En starred in the war film "Defenders," followed by appearances in the theatrical film "Duo Le Lu" and the Republican-era comedy "The Last Wulin" in 2017. In 2018, he starred in the TV drama "Go For Gold" and the film "Chugou."
In 2020, he participated in the war film "The Eight Hundred" and the anti-poaching film "Tiger." In 2021, his historical drama film "Chuan Liu" was released on January 29. That year, he also took part in Zhang Yimou's espionage film "Cliff Walkers" and appeared in the suspense web drama "In Darkness." He starred in the sports film "The Legend of No. 9" that same year.
In 2022, he starred in the films "Moonlight Warrior" and "The Source of Power." In 2023, Bai En participated in the "2023 China Central Radio and Television Spring Festival Gala," and the film "Delicious Romance," in which he starred, was released on April 15. On July 1, 2023, he also appeared in "The Source of Power," which was released in mainland China. On March 22, 2024, he will appear in the film "Fortress," playing the role of Lin Yuan.
