Zhang Yuan-ang

Zhang Yuan-ang, born on January 31, 1990, graduated from the Drama and Film Literature Department of Shanghai Theatre Academy and is a renowned female screenwriter from mainland China. She officially entered the screenwriting field in 2013 and participated in her first work, "Death Notify," in 2014. From 2015 to 2016, Zhang Yuan'ang contributed to the scripts for "Death Notify 2" and the "Falling Down" series. In 2016, she also worked on the script for "The Mystic Nine," which became a hit with over 10 billion clicks on a single platform.
In 2017, she joined the team for the scriptwriting of "The Golden Eyes," which premiered in 2019, earning her the Youth Screenwriter Award at the Chuxin List that year. In May 2018, she received the award for "Top Ten Young TV Screenwriters in China" at the Chuxin List. In 2020, Zhang Yuan'ang spent nearly two years completing the script for "Being A Hero."
On August 29, 2024, the television drama "The First Shot," for which she contributed as a screenwriter, was scheduled to air on September 3 on China Central Television. Additionally, her works include "Evil Nights" and "Ultimate Note," showcasing her talent in suspense, urban, and science fiction genres. Her unique writing style is characterized by tightly woven plots and emotionally profound stories.
