Wang Xiao

Wang Xiao or Lawrence Wang, born on May 4, 1978, is a Chinese actor and the son of performing artists Wang Qun and Wang Fuli. He was born in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, and studied in Russia for two years before spending six years in Canada, where he specialized in 3D animation and ultimately earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. In 2004, he returned to China and gained widespread recognition for his outstanding performance in the television drama "A Clear Midsummer Night." Wang Xiao's acting career began in 2005 with his role in the drama "血緣 (Bloodline)." He became well-known in 2010 for his role in the emotional drama "Lost in Los Angeles," followed by appearances in "Xia Yan's Autumn" and "Xia Nan Yang."
In 2011, he collaborated with his mother, Wang Fuli, in the family drama "We Are Family." In 2012, he drew attention for his performance in the urban business drama "A Clear Midsummer Night" and also appeared in the film "Man of Tai Chi," directed by Keanu Reeves. In 2013, Wang Xiao played Di Gua in the modern family emotional drama "The Wife's Secret," and in 2014, he appeared in "Pretty Wife." He participated in the drama "White Deer Plain" in 2015, and in 2016, he showcased his acting skills in "Eternal Love" and "Pretty Li Hui Zhen."
In 2020, he starred in the police criminal investigation drama "Trident," which premiered on May 31.
