We All Lie

The story revolves around the marriage of famous screenwriter Su Li and popular actor Zhang Shuheng. On the surface, their life appears sweet and happy, but cracks begin to appear when Su Li receives an anonymous message. This message reveals Zhang Shuheng's unfaithfulness; as Su Li investigates further, she ultimately confirms her husband's infidelity and discovers that the other person is her close friend of many years. Faced with betrayal in friendship and love, Su Li falls into deep anguish.
Calm and decisive, Su Li decides to divorce immediately, but after consulting a lawyer, she learns that due to Zhang Shuheng's investment failures, he has almost no assets. If they divorce, Su Li would have to part with half of her own wealth. Unable to accept this reality, she decides to pretend to be unaware of the situation and temporarily postpone the divorce until she is prepared with the necessary paperwork. However, the anger over the betrayal cannot be quelled, prompting her to secretly seek revenge on her husband and friend.
During her quest for revenge, Su Li discovers the identity of the person who sent the anonymous message: it is Zhang Shuheng's assistant, Wang Gangang. As they spend time together, they each realize that they are both in unhappy marriages, leading to a sense of resonance between them. Their friendship deepens as they support each other through their challenges.
