Rao Jun, born on April 1, 1989, in Tongren, Guizhou, graduated from Shanghai Theatre Academy and is a well-known screenwriter and writer in mainland China. He published his first novel, "Watching Over Winter," in 2011. Subsequently, he created the modern family drama "The Wife's Secret" in 2013 and co-wrote the historical fantasy drama "The Journey of Flower" with Jiang Chenzhou in 2015, which set viewership records and achieved breakthrough streaming numbers online. In 2016, his thriller romance drama "Revive" premiered, followed by the historical romance drama "Lost Love in Times" in 2017. In 2018, he was selected as one of the "Top Ten Young TV Drama Screenwriters in China" by the inaugural Original Intention List, and released "火王之千裡同風 (Fire King: The Wind Blows Through a Thousand Miles)" that same year.
In 2019, the historical martial arts drama "Sword Dynasty Fantasy Masterwork," for which he contributed as a screenwriter, was released, followed by "The Twin Flower Legend" in 2020. In 2021, his works "A Girl Like Me" and "Ancient Love Poetry" were broadcast successively, with the latter earning him the Best Young Screenwriter award at the 8th Wenrong Awards. That year, he also published the novel "Warm Winter." In 2023, his screenwriting projects "Choice Husband" and the editorially supervised "A Portrait of Jianghu:Reincarnated Disciple" were released one after another. His works are known for their romance, aesthetic appeal, and emotional depth, and he has received widespread acclaim through his personal column in "You Ai."
