Xin Peng

Xin Peng, born on April 28, 1981, in Tianjin, graduated from the Acting Department of Nanjing University of the Arts. He is a male director and actor from mainland China.
In 2009, Xin Peng made his acting debut in the comedy "Invincible Sanjiaomao," directed by Shang Jing. That same year, he also appeared in the epic film "Tian An Men." In 2010, he made an appearance in the war drama "I Am Legend." In 2012, Xin Peng starred in the revolutionary drama "The Female Soldier." In 2013, he played a leading role in the mythical drama "The Eight Fairies." In 2014, he participated in the war drama "Grandpa's Anti Japanese War ." In 2015, Xin Peng appeared in the war dramas "My Battalion" and "Yangko Dance." In 2016, he took part in the martial arts drama "The Legend of the Condor Heroes" and the thriller "Soul Ferry 3." In October of that year, he also participated in the annual drama "Mother's Life." In May 2019, Xin Peng portrayed the character Wang Kaixuan in "Candle In The Tomb."
Xin Peng's directing career is equally diverse. In 2019, his directed series "尖刀之風雷訣 (The Blade's Wind and Thunder Techniques)" aired. In 2021, he directed the inspirational epic "Sisterhood," which focuses on the struggles of overseas Chinese women. On September 27 of 2022, his investigative drama "Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty" premiered exclusively on iQIYI. That same year, he also directed and co-wrote the television series "Never Wronged." On August 5, 2023, his series "Days With Ambition and Pride" was scheduled to air on Beijing TV and iQIYI. In 2024, his directed series "Sowers of Hope" and the Republic-era mystery drama "Never Wronged" are set to be broadcast.
