Zhan Huai-yun, born on August 21, 1998, is a Taiwanese actor from the Neihu District of Taipei City, who later moved to the Sanjhih District of New Taipei City. He graduated from Taipei City University of Science and Technology. In 2013, while still in junior high, Zhan was invited by a film crew to audition while shopping in Ximen. Director Yee Chih-yen selected him from thousands of candidates to play the lead role, A-zu, in the film "Meeting Dr.Sun," marking his official debut in 2014. In 2015, he was nominated for Best New Actor at the 9th Asian Film Awards for this role. He later participated in the films "My Egg Boy" and the TV movie "The Sweet Place," and in 2022, he was recognized as an Outstanding Newcomer at the Taipei Film Festival. Zhan has a strong interest in rap music and began writing songs in high school, even creating a rap song in 2016 to support same-sex marriage. His recent works include the TV series "I Can See You Shine" and "Born for the Spotlight."
