Sun Jie-heng
Sun Jie-heng, a director, was born in Taipei and currently resides in Kaohsiung. During his university years, he majored in history and pursued political science in graduate school. After graduating, he went to New York to further his studies in film production. During this time, he worked as a policy researcher in an office and as a green sea turtle patrol officer on the beach, fostering a deep love for ocean-related matters. Sun Jie-heng is dedicated to connecting people with the environment through images and stories. In 2015, he officially moved to Kaohsiung through the "Creative Talent Return Program" by the Kaohsiung City Government's Cultural Affairs Bureau and established the "Unseen Film Studio." From 2017 to 2019, he directed several short films. The year 2024 is a significant one for Sun Jie-heng, as his mini-series "Three Tears in Borneo" premiered on Taiwan Public Television, garnering widespread attention.
