Bu Guan-jin

Bu Guan-jin, born on May 25, 1994, in Wuhan, Hubei Province, is a Chinese actress who graduated from the Central Academy of Drama with a degree in acting. Her parents worked in the Jianghan Oilfield, and during her childhood, she studied Peking Opera, which ignited her passion for performing. Although she was initially accepted into a drama school in Wuhan, her mother wanted her to continue her studies at a regular high school. As the college entrance exams approached, Bu Guanjin realized she still loved the stage and ultimately applied to and was accepted by the Central Academy of Drama. In 2016, while in her junior year, Bu Guanjin was selected by the director of "Mr. Donkey" to star in her first film, playing the role of Sun Jia, officially entering the entertainment industry. That same year, she also starred in the suspense crime film "The Disappearance Of Suspects." In 2017, she starred in the road comedy film "路不可急 (No Hurry for the Road)" and was nominated for Best Actress at the 3rd German Chinese Film Festival for her performance in "那一場呼嘯而過的青春 (Youth)." In 2018, Bu Guanjin gained prominence with the youth campus drama "Suddenly This Summer," winning the Best Actress Award in the web series category at the 2nd China Yinchuan Internet Film Festival. She also lent her voice to a public service video for PETA Asia on World Environment Day. In 2019, she played the role of Bai Ling'er, the daughter of a general, in the historical drama "The Legend of Hao Lan" and starred in the inspirational drama "追球 (Chasing Ball)." That same year, as a member of the China Radio and Television Association's Actors Committee, she called on actors nationwide to actively participate in various public welfare and poverty alleviation programs and activities.
In July 2020, the youth inspirational drama "Twenty Your Life On," starring Bu Guanjin, premiered, followed by the release of the comedy film "Bath Buddy" in December. In April 2021, the TV series "A Love for Dilemma," in which she participated, was broadcast, and in September, the historical light comedy "Your Sensibility My Destiny" premiered. In September 2022, the romantic comedy film "Too Beautiful To Lie" was released. In 2023, Bu Guanjin voiced the animated film "Art College 1994." On May 26, the film "Awakening Spring ," in which she played the role of Yu Ke, was released in mainland China. On August 22, the films "Just For Meeting You" and "Puppy Love," in which she played the roles of Xiang Yu'an and Wei Xiaonan respectively, were also released in mainland China. On January 30, 2024, the TV dramas "The Happy Seven in Chang'an" and "Link Click," starring Bu Guanjin, will be broadcast.
