Benjamin Yuen

Benjamin Yuen (Yuen Wai-ho), born on May 11, 1981, in Hong Kong, is currently a managed contract artist with TVB (Television Broadcasts Limited) and a singer with Zoen Sai Entertainment. He was also previously an artist with Shaw Brothers. His debut work was an advertisement for Vitasoy's "New Generation" campaign. His wife, Bowie Cheung, was the Miss Friendship winner at the 2016 Miss Hong Kong Pageant. Benjamin entered the entertainment industry in 1998 with his first film, "Young and Dangerous: The Prequel." In 2002, he appeared in the film "Infernal Affairs," starring Andy Lau and Tony Leung, playing a CID officer. In 2004, he participated in the film "Heat Team," portraying the character Sun Jai.
In 2007, Benjamin participated in the Mr. Hong Kong contest and won the championship, marking his official return to the entertainment industry. In 2012, he starred in the TV drama "The Hippocratic Crush." In 2013, he not only joined TVB's singing competition "The Voice of the Stars," but also achieved significant success in various TV dramas, winning the Most Promising Actor award at the TVB Star Awards Malaysia. In 2015, he won the Most Favorite Supporting Actor and Most Favorite TVB Character awards at the TVB Star Awards Malaysia for his role in "The Fixer." The following year, he won the Most Popular Male Character award at the TVB Anniversary Awards for his performance in "A Fist Within Four Walls." In 2017, he starred in the modern drama "Stealing Seconds" and won the My Favorite TVB Male Character award at the StarHub TVB Awards for his role in the crime drama "Line Walker: The Prelude." In November 2019, Benjamin received further recognition, earning a nomination for Best Actor in a Contemporary TV Drama at the 26th Huading Awards for his performance in the TV drama "The Defected."
