Ng Lap-kwong

Ng Lap Kwong is one of Hong Kong's most experienced screenwriters and serves as an Assistant Creative Director at TVB (Television Broadcasts Limited). In 1989, he applied for TVB's screenwriter training program, which led to his joining TVB as a screenwriter, and he has remained with the company ever since. In 1997, he was promoted to script editor, with his first project in this role being the drama "Moments of Endearment." Ng Lap Kwong, along with Yip Tin Shing and Leung Yan Tung, frequently collaborates with producer Man Wai Hung.
Ng Lap Kwong has a diverse and extensive portfolio. Notable works include his contributions to the 1992 dramas "The File of Justice" and "The Greed of Man." In 2014, he served as the script editor for "Line Walker," and in 2016, he took on the same role for "Over Run Over." In addition to television dramas, Ng Lap Kwong also participated in the creation of the 1994 film "The Tragic Fantasy - Tiger of Wanchai." Despite his long career, Ng Lap Kwong remains active on the front lines of Hong Kong television drama creation, and his works continue to be loved by audiences.
