Anita Yuen

Anita Yuen (Yuen Wing-yee) was born on September 4, 1971. She is a Hong Kong actress, and her husband is the famous Hong Kong singer and actor Chilam Cheung. Anita graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and won the Miss Hong Kong title and the Miss Photogenic award in 1990, marking the beginning of her acting career. She has appeared in numerous TVB dramas, such as "Angel's Call." In 1992, she began her film career and quickly gained recognition for her outstanding performances. In 1993, she won the Best New Performer award at the Hong Kong Film Awards for her role in "The Days of Being Dumb." She then won the Best Actress award at the Hong Kong Film Awards for two consecutive years for her roles in "C'est La Vie, Mon Chéri" (1994) and "He's a Woman, She's a Man" (1995), becoming the first actress to win the award for three consecutive years. In 1999, her exquisite performance in the costume drama "Mulan" earned her the Most Popular Actress award in Taiwan. In 2005, she was nominated for the Best Actress in a Drama Program at the Asian Television Awards for her role in the romance drama "Love's Lone Flower." Since 2009, Anita has been active in the Chinese mainland film and television industry and gained widespread popularity for her performance in the business drama "Born Rich." In 2013 and 2015, she starred in the costume martial arts drama "Longmen Express" and the palace drama "Royal Romance," respectively. In 2019, she appeared in the comedy film "A Home with a View." In 2023, she played a major role in the drama film "One More Chance," continuing her illustrious career in the entertainment industry.
