Cast & Crew
Two years ago, in 2002, the barrister Lam Leung Shui (played by Dayo Wong) transitioned from his role as a judge to becoming a lawyer. His first case was to help his client Tsang Kit Yee (played by Louise Wong) with a child abuse case. However, due to his mistake, Tsang Kit Yee was wrongfully convicted for manslaughter and sentenced to 17 years in prison. He felt deeply guilty about this and moved his office from the lawyer's building in Central to a tenement building in Mong Kok, marking a steep decline in his reputation. Two years later, in 2004, an accidental discovery led Lam Leung Shui to new evidence in the Tsang Kit Yee case. To make up for his previous mistake and seek redemption, he retrieved his master Tai Zi (played by Dee Ho) and his former collaborating barrister Fong Ka Kwan (played by Renci Yeung) to retry the case. However, who they had to face was Tsang Kit Yee's enemy from the past, Chung Nien Wah (played by Fish Liew), and the powerful resources and authority behind her. Confronted with numerous threats, how do Lam Leung Shui and his team handle this situation and clear Tsang Kit Yee's unfounded conviction?
