Wang Jing-chun
Wang Jing-chun, born on February 12, 1973 in Altay City, Xinjiang, graduated from the acting department of the Shanghai Theatre Academy. He is a well-known male actor in mainland China and entered the entertainment industry in 1998. His acting career began with his role in the TV drama "The Door Between Live and Death" in 1998, and the following year he starred in his first film "Let’s Get Married". In 2009, his role in the crime film "Wild Rose" earned him the Best Actor award at the 10th Television Film Lily Awards. In 2013, the film "The Police Diary" won him the Best Actor award at the 26th Tokyo International Film Festival. In 2014, the suspenseful romance film "Black Coal, Thin Ice" in which he participated, was awarded the Golden Bear for Best Film at the 64th Berlin International Film Festival. In 2019, Wang Jingchun won the Silver Bear for Best Actor at the 69th Berlin International Film Festival and the Best Actor award at the 32nd China Film Golden Rooster Awards for his performance in "So Long, My Son". In 2023, he won the Best Supporting Actor award in the TV drama unit at the 1st Golden Panda Awards for the film "Ordinary Greatness", and immediately afterwards, he participated in the film "說再見 (Saying Goodbye)". That year, he was also nominated for the Best Supporting Actor at the 28th Shanghai TV Festival Magnolia Awards for "Ordinary Greatness".
