Chen Zhuo, born in July 1978 in Changsha City, Hunan Province, is a male director and screenwriter from mainland China. He graduated from the School of Architecture and the School of Design at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. In 2012, his self-written and directed drama film "Song of Silence" was released, which won the NETPAC Award for Best Asian Film at the 10th Vladivostok International Film Festival and the "Firebird Award" at the New Talent Film Competition of the 36th Hong Kong International Film Festival. In 2017, his romantic comedy film "Come Across Love", for which he served as the director and screenwriter, was released. By 2023, he once again took on the roles of director and screenwriter for the crime suspense film "The Invisible Guest". Following this, in 2024, his self-written and directed suspense crime genre film "Hovering Blade" was officially released.
