Liu Yu-ning

Liu Yu-ning, known by his stage name "Xiao Ning", is a popular Chinese male singer and actor. He was born on January 8, 1990, in Dandong, Liaoning Province and graduated from Dandong Cooking Vocational School. He gained fame through his early participation in talent shows like "我型我秀 (My Show)" and "Super Boy", then subsequently formed the "Modern Brothers" band, serving as the lead singer. He became immensely popular on platforms such as YY Live and TikTok through his rendition of popular songs. In 2016, he made his acting debut with the movie "九五2班 (Class 2 of 95)" officially entering the entertainment industry. He then transitioned to variety shows two years later, actively participating in various programs. In 2019, he was selected as a contestant for Hunan TV's "Singer 2019". The same year, with the Modern Brothers, he held his first tour concert named "Growth Storm", and took his first role in a television series, "Hot-Blooded Youth". His achievements in 2019 were recognized with multiple honors, including the Best New Male Singer award at both the 26th East Wind Billboard and the 23rd Global Chinese Music Billboard, and his inclusion in the Forbes China 30 Under 30 List.
