Teng Cong-cong, born in 1985 in China, is a female director and screenwriter. In 2009, recommended by her mentor Xie Fei, she graduated smoothly with an undergraduate degree and continued her studies at the Beijing Film Academy. During this time, she joined the "Youth Growth Program" and began to focus on creating female-themed films. In 2016, Teng made her first foray into editing, working on the short drama "The Onchid Season". In 2019, she created and directed her first movie "Send Me To The Clouds", this film won her several honors, including the Best Director Award for Asian Newcomer at the 22nd Shanghai International Film Festival, and the Debut Director Award at the 32nd China Golden Rooster Film Awards. In 2020, Teng edited the film "Wangdrak's Rain Boots". In 2024, continuing her role as a scriptwriter and director, her TV drama "To the Wonder" premiered in mainland China and was shortlisted for the Best Long Series competition at the 7th Cannes TV Festival.
