Danny Teng
Danny Teng, born in 1956, is a seasoned drama director and actor from Taiwan. His artistic career began at a young age when he formed a band with friends and performed as resident singers in several restaurants. The lead singer, Zhang Xiaowen, eventually became his spouse. Danny Teng later joined the Lanling Theatre Workshop to study acting. Upon recommendations from his workshop mates Xu Xiaoshun and Yang Liyin, he started his career as a TV actor. Not only did Danny participate in the performances of drama series, but he also served as a drama director for multiple television stations. His directing works include series such as "温柔的慈悲 (Gentle Mercy)", "Love Bird", "王位繼承人 (Heir to the Throne)", and "Ti Amo Chocolate". He earned a Golden Bell Award nomination for Best Director in 2002 for his work in the TV series "別來無恙 (Safe and Sound)". As an outstanding actor, Danny has appeared in dramas like "A Cinematic Journey", "The Hospital", and "Letter 1949".
