Leon

Leon (Li Ang), born in Huainan, Anhui, and a graduate of the Acting Department of the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts, is a new generation director and screenwriter in Mainland China. His creative career started in 2008 when he began participating in the scriptwriting of "The VI Group of Fatal Case 3" during his university studies. After many years as a professional scriptwriter, Leon independently created numerous TV dramas and films, mainly known for intense narratives and realism. With his major in directing during his school days, Leon transitioned into a creative style integrating scripting and directing. In 2013, he embarked on his directing career, successively directing multiple TV dramas. In 2017, he directed the thrilling spy drama "Cicada of Autumn" produced by H&R Century Pictures, and in 2018, he wrote and directed the super seasonal drama "The Lost Tomb: Season 2" also produced by H&R Century Pictures. In 2019, he created and directed the web drama "The Coolest World" for Alibaba Pictures. Leon directed the Mango TV seasonal drama theater web drama "The Priceless" in 2021. In 2023, he served as the chief scriptwriter and director for the TV drama "Twilight", which premiered on Tencent Video. In the same year, his directed TV drama "South Wind Knows" began broadcasting on Youku. In 2024, his TV drama work "Reblooming Blue" was broadcast on Mango TV and Hunan Satellite TV.
