Jia Bing

Jia Bing, a first-class actor from Mainland China, was born on July 29, 1980, in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. As the head of an opera troupe, he began serving in the Cultural and Industrial Troupe of the People's Liberation Army 73071 Unit in 1997 before transitioning to the Zhejiang Opera and Acrobatics Troupe, Ltd. in 2005. His acting career saw a significant breakthrough in 2010 when his sketch "Kiss" won the Newcomer Award at the 6th Chinese Quyi Peony Award National contest, and scored gold in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai Comedy Star TV Invitational in November the same year. In 2016, he appeared on the TV show "King of Comedy" on Oriental TV, marking his first foray into the public eye as a comedian. In subsequent years, he participated actively in various programs and won many awards. In 2017, he was crowned champion in the show "笑聲傳奇 (The Legend of Laughter)" on DragonTV, and ended his role in the 4th season of "Top Funny Comedian" as the champion in 2018. Meanwhile, he multiple times attended the Central and Oriental TV Spring Festival Gala, performing alongside top domestic comedians. His popularity soared in 2023 with his role in the TV series "The Knockout," and he also participated in the films "Post-Truth" and "Great Magician." In the same year, the variety show "Let's go now" in which he participated was released on Tencent Video, and the movie "Football Youth" premiered. In 2024, he took the leading role in the movie "The Last Frenzy," which was officially released in mainland China.
