Yang Mi (Mini Yang), born on September 12, 1986, in Beijing, is a famous actress in mainland China, a pop singer, and a film and television producer. Yang started acting in TV dramas when she was four years old and appeared as an extra in Stephen Chow's film "King of Beggars". In 2003, Yang officially entered the film industry, and in 2005 she enrolled in the undergraduate program at the Beijing Film Academy's Acting Department. She began to attract public attention in 2006 through her role in "The Return of the Condor Heroes". In 2008, she was nominated as the Best Actress in the Audience's Favorite TV Drama at the 24th Chinese Television Golden Eagle Award for her role in "Wang Zhaojun".
