Rosa Maria Velasco
Rosa Maria Velasco, born on March 12, 1983, is a stage actress in Hong Kong. She was born in Taiwan to an American-Spanish father and a Taiwanese mother, but her upbringing was in Hong Kong. She graduated top of her class from the Drama Department of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, and has won multiple Hong Kong Stage Drama Awards. In 2014, she was presented the Award for Young Artist (Drama) by the Arts Development Council. Between 2007 and 2009, she was part of the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre, and in the time following, she participated in the development of other theatre companies. In addition to stage plays, she has also been involved in film dubbing and music video shooting. In 2014, she made her first appearance on the big screen in the film "Break Up 100". In 2023, she starred in the comedy film "Everyphone Everywhere". That same year, she was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress at the Hong Kong Film Awards for her performance in "Time Still Turns The Pages". Rosa is married, and she gave birth to a daughter in 2021.
