Nick Cheuk is a Hong Kong film director and screenwriter, born on October 21, 1987. He is the son of Cheuk Wing-hing, the Deputy Director of the Bureau of Administrative Affairs in Hong Kong, and a member of the Hong Kong Screenwriters' Guild. In 2013, he graduated from the School of Creative Media at City University of Hong Kong, specializing in film art, being a protégé of director Tam Ka-ming. He wrote the script for the Hong Kong film "Paradox", and served as the creative director at the 38th Hong Kong Film Awards. In 2019, he wrote and directed the Derek Yee-produced film "Time Still Turns The Pages", which won the funding from the Hong Kong Film Development Fund for the "First Feature Film Project", a tertiary group. This movie also won him the "Best New Director" award at the 60th Golden Horse Awards, the 17th Asian Film Awards, and the 42nd Hong Kong Film Awards.
