Yu Jhi-Han is a multi-talented director, screenwriter, and editor. He made his debut in 2006, winning three awards at the Taipei Film Festival with his short film "仿·同 (Imitation · Same)". In 2008, his directorial work "Nirvana" was shortlisted for the 3rd Golden Horse Film Academy and the 11th Taipei Film Festival Short Film Competition. It also bagged multiple awards at the 31st Golden Harvest Awards for Best Film, Director, Cinematography, and Art Design, showcasing his warm and detailed cinematic style. Between 2010 and 2017, Yu served as an editor for feature films such as "Long Time No Sea", "10,000 Miles", and "I Am Somebody". In 2018, his short film "Gentleman Spa" was shortlisted for film festivals in Hong Kong, London, Brisbane, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Rhode Island, and Mumbai. In recent years, Yu Jhi-Han has also ventured into the production of music videos, TV commercials, and corporate brand image films. Leveraging his diverse production and creative skills, he has established himself as a standout, all-rounded talent among the new generation of directors.
