Maggie Lee, also known as Li Linlin, was originally named Li Yueling. She was born on 13th November 1948 and is a respected senior actress from Hong Kong, with her family's roots in Tianjin. In the early 1990s, she moved to Vancouver with her husband, John Chiang Tai Wai, where they settled and established their family. Maggie Lee grew up in Tsim Sha Tsui in Kowloon and graduated from the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus School. However, she left school during her secondary education and joined Cathay Organization Ltd in the 1960s (formerly known as Motion Picture & General Investment Co. Ltd.), where she starred in more than thirty films. In the 1970s, Lee joined TVB. Her representative work is the TV series 'The Heart with a Million Knots', co-starring with Bill Chan Shek Sau. She was invited to join Commercial Television in 1978. However, from the time she signed until Commercial Television went bankrupt, they were only 21 days apart, making her the last contracted artist of Commercial Television. She then returned to TVB to continue her acting career. Li Linlin is now the permanent honorary president of the Vancouver Film and Television Artists Association.
