Ivy Chen, born on November 12, 1982, in New Taipei City, is a Chinese film and television actress. She made her acting debut in 2006, starring in the movie "The Road in the Air", and gained greater attention the following year through her performance in the drama "Struggle". In 2009, her talent was again displayed in the crime drama "Black & White", which earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the Seoul International Drama Awards. In 2010, Chen's superb performance in "Hear Me" won her the Best Actress Award at the 12th Taipei Film Festival. Two years later, she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Golden Horse Awards for her role in "LOVE", once again affirming her impressive acting skills. In 2014, she received another nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the 51st Golden Horse Awards for her role in the contemporary drama "Paradise in Service". In 2015, she took on a leading role in the time-travel drama "Time to Love". The following year, she starred in the romantic comedy "Mr. Delicious Miss. Match" and the mystery film "Really!". By 2018, she married her boyfriend, director Hsu Fu-hsiang, and took her first foray into directing with the series "Love Is In The Air". That same year, she returned to the big screen with the film "More Than Blue", rounding out an enriching year of work.
