Mystery Writers

"Mystery Writers" is inspired by a notably infamous haunted building located in the center of Taipei, Taiwan. Over the past 30 years, this building has been the scene of over 20 horrifying incidents. Most notorious among these is a fire that occurred in the 1980s, trapping over 300 people and resulting in the unfortunate death of 19 individuals. Another chilling event, now a part of urban folklore, is the so-called "roast meat dumpling incident". A woman, tormented by her emotional troubles, jumped from the building, accidentally landing on and killing a roast meat dumpling vendor below. These tragedies have spurred the eerie reputation of the building, causing a significant drop in its property value compared to surrounding structures. "Mystery Writers" tells the story of a woman played by Chen Yu, with supernatural sensitivity, who decides to delve into the truth behind the fire and moves into this haunted building. During her investigation, she meets a horror novelist, portrayed by Masha Pan, and together they unravel the terrifying incidents inside the building.
