Eric Tsang Chi Wai is a renowned Hong Kong entertainer, actor, television host, and film producer. Born on April 14, 1953, he started his career as a martial arts actor and later became widely recognized as the host of "Super Trio Series". He then transitioned into a career as a film actor and television host. He has also ventured into film production by participating in the investment, planning, and production of various films, demonstrating excellent performance in hosting, acting, and directing. Currently, he serves as the General Manager of TVB (Program Content Operations). Tsang was one of the main creators of the Hong Kong "Cinema City" in the 1980s. He participated in a series of films such as "Aces Go Places" and "Lucky Stars Go Places" using his comedic persona and won the Best Actor award at the Hong Kong Film Awards for his performance in "Alan & Eric: Between Hello and Goodbye". In 1992, he joined TVB and co-hosted the "Super Trio" series of game shows with Natalis Chan and Chin Ka Lok, achieving impressive ratings. He also serves as the Honorary President of the Hong Kong Performing Artists Association.
