Stanley Kwan
Stanley Kwan (Kwan Kam-Pang), born on October 9, 1957, in Hong Kong, is a renowned director and producer for Chinese-language films. He graduated from the School of Communication at Hong Kong Baptist University. Stanley Kwan is famous for directing heart-touching films with female-centric themes. He won both Best Film and Best Director for his masterpiece "Rouge" at the 8th Hong Kong Film Awards in 1989. In 2001, his film "Lan Yu" bestowed upon him the honor of Best Director at Taiwan's Golden Horse Awards.
